Waiting for France Photos but Here's a Video

It's been awhile since my last blog entry but wanted to let people know I'm getting pictures ready from my trip to see my fiancee last week. It was a great trip and I'll give out more details as soon as my pictures are processes, cleaned, organized, tagged, and finally sub-sampled out to share the best pictures of the bunch.

Until then, I stumbled across this guy who has cleverly used news broadcasts to create a both political satire and catchy music parody. Check it out:

UVERworld - Just Melody

Unfortunately, this video cuts off the really cool instrumental intro, but I heard this song today and loved it (kind of rediscovered it). So here it is for anyone interested in JPop. UVERworld is a pretty solid band that have done quite a few opening and ending credits for various anime in Japan. Without further ado...here's a video for you...

This kid might have been me...

I found this youtube video of 2 kids, brother and sister, who go absolutely ecstatic over a Nintendo 64. While the kid may not have been as excited over a remote controlled car, I think back to the times when I got ecstatic over a pair of socks (no joke, it's on video). I was easy to please, and I still am. I don't know about you, but my response to a remote controlled car wouldn't have been, "Oh, it's a remote controlled car....thank you Santa." Enjoy this short video.

I found this cool PV today (PV = Premiere Video as advertisement for singles and albums in Japan). The translation reminds me of something that would play on the Disney channel, but ignore what the words mean and it sounds pretty cool. Check it out.
